desert bred Sheykh Obeyd, Founder of Polish Female family nr 16 and English Female family nr 3. Selma was a grey Hamdani Simri of Abbas Pasha\'s lines. She was foaled in 1865 and was sold at the Khedive Ismail\'s sail to Mahmud Bey who in 1879 bred from her Sobha, by Wazir. Sobha was purchased by Wilfrid and Lady Anne Blunt in 1891, imported to Crabbet the same year and sold to the Russian Government Stud at Derkoul in 1899.*
